Melodies sparse enough to serve as a backdrop for dreaming or reading, with lovely evolutionary surprises when the music returns to the forefront. My highest hope is that a copy of this album ends up as the sole cassette in a work van or firewatch cabin. It's music you can spend some time living with. Favorite track: Zapf’s Used Books.
